REVIEW: Mad River Steelhead Extra Pale Ale
By Admiral Ale on Aug 13, 2007 in Brew Reviews
Today, after a long day at work and a nice stint at the gym (made more tolerable due to the “Back to the Future” that happened to be playing) I found myself at the “Library Alehouse” in Santa Monica. I figured that a dinner of beer was the perfect way to reward my body and mind for putting up with my various shenanigans…
I started the evening with the Madriver Steelhead Extra Pale Ale. This Blue Lake, California native revived my tired senses with its malty, smooth after-taste. This beer went down fast, and what I would call “sharp”. A very pleasant beer to be enjoyed while chatting with friends, I found this ale to be the perfect partner to a relaxing evening.
