REVIEW: North Coast Brewing Co. Pranqster Belgian Style Golden Ale
By Admiral Ale on Aug 13, 2007 in Brew Reviews
The name may be a mouthful, but the taste of this beer matches its moniker in complexity. It is served in a specialty Belgian beer glass, and an initial olfactory inspection reveals a strong smell of wheat. This brew goes down smooth and leaves you with a light after-taste. The “Pranqster” hails from Fort Bragg, California, and it is both aromatic and a delight for the palate, truly a beer that warrants a road trip to the brewery to see what it takes to create this kind of taste. As I continued my night at the “Library Alehouse”, I was glad to have this beer keeping me company.
