Friends… this is just a quick note to say that the beer Mrs. Beer and the Cap’n brewed a few weeks back is AWESOME. We brewed a steam-style brau but added a LOT of hops and a bunch of dried cranberries. Not shockingly, the result is a hoppy, floral boqueted brew with a mildly fruity nose. The sip is malty and full, the finish a crisp hop goodbye that leaves one refreshed… and in need of another sip. So the Captain, far from the sea and in fact in the desert, salutes his own work. Self serving? Naw… just serving myself another beer.

PS… it’s once again named O’Beerglers. This time, O’Beerglers Antonator SteamStyle Fruit Brau.
