REVIEW: Bud Light & Clamato - AWESOME!

clamatuhoh.jpg

Friends, at first this Captain was skeptical. I mean, Bud Light… mixed with Clamato!? Whoa! Pass the bong, Chip! It took me long enough to embrace the mixing of clam juice and tomato juice in the first place. In fact, I don’t really think clam juice should be a juice one consumes. But, notwithstanding… this beer RULES! The flavorful Bud Light—a lovely mix of light malt and crisp, floral hops—provides a perfect backbone for the flavor body of this excellent brew-fusion beverage.

The salty sweet clam juice and the tart, vegetabley (um…) tomato tastiness really do make this an anytime beer! Lunch, beach parties, traffic—whatever! In fact, this beer is almost… kind of…APRIL FOOLS, BE-ICE! Jesus. Bud Light & Clamato!? BUD LIGHT & CLAMATO!?!? No, man. No way. Crap. Shames the word beer. But I had you going, yes? No? Oh. Well… play along. I’ve been planning this since ‘03.

  1. Fine display, young Captain, fine display.

I’ve seen enough people try this over the years and always been like… gwaaah? so then one time I tried it and then I was all like… gwwAAAAH?!?!?

  2. yeh, one time a vegetarian friend was drinking this stuff and he was like “it tastes pretty bad, but whatever, it’s beer” and i was like “you know that bad flavor is clam juice, right?” and he was like “gwwAAAAH!”

i’ve poured several shots of hot sauce in my brew (you remember that, lieutenant?) but clam juice? nah. nah.
