Sorry, whenever I see the year “1933″ written I switch into Horse Race Announcer mode. Likely doesn’t help that we went to the world-famous Santa Anita horse track this weekend. There was a microbrew festival there! Some amazing beers on tap, like the Widmer Crimson Wheat I’ve posted on, a Kona Coffee Stout… anyway, we’re here to talk about New Beer’s Day. So let’s talk…

Anyway, today marks the day beer could again be served in America, after more then 12 years of the stupidest policy ever to shroud our good land. Not that I would have minded gettin’ me a flapper or two, or perhaps a bit of flagpole sittin’ and jitterbuggin all night. Anyway, yeah. I mean: YEAH!!!
