Incredible article from the WSJ yesterday…Budweiser is indeed losing its edge. Clearly, one of the best ways to make a ton of cabbage is to bully distributors into exclusive agreements. This is indeed prevalent throughout the nation’s flyover states. Basically, evil Anheuser-Busch crafted an idea way back to have beer distributors sell only their branded brews.

Can you imagine, only having access to such wimpy, unmanly beers such as Budweiser, Bud Light/ Select/Dry/Ice/Ice/Light/Brewmaster’s Private Reserve , Michelob/Light/Ultra/Amber/Honey Lager/AmberBock (This actually isn’t too bad), Busch/Light/Ice, or Natty Light/Ice (a.k.a. “Violence in a Can“? Neither can I. It’s a big world out there. Indeed, Americans vote with their stomachs–distributors which carry only 100% of AB products has dropped by ten percentage points over the past few years. We are winning in the war against taste! Huzzah!

More and more Americans these days are awakening from their tasteless stupor and realizing that real people (women and men alike) should enjoy flavor in their beer, most assuredly something which the aforementioned list lacks.
